Yes, we are all crying COLD!!!

As an "old timer" I can say we haven't seen it this cold since 1964! (at least that's what the paper said!)
The water pipe out in the garden house froze & shot water everywhere. Luckly I was out there right after it happened & could get it turned off. All the huge Ficus trees around are brown. Three days in a row is hard for any plant.
Because you non-Arizona people think we are whinning about the cold, I have proof that we are suffering! Look at the ice in my fountain!

The Fall Smell is in the Air

Ahhhh it's October & for most there is a chrispness in the air but for us in Mesa, Arizona, it's the smell of manure! Yes, everywhere it's the smell of manure because everyone is overseeding their lawns with rye grass & topcoating it with manure!!!
Different smells for different seasons!
